Joshua Cannon

Joshua Cannon is a Tennessee-based filmmaker, bent toward music video direction. His work has been featured on MTV, TIME, The Fader, KEXP and SPIN Magazine. Cannon’s portfolio also includes short-form documentary and narrative work. He’s a co-founder of One Four Three, a collaborative focused on integrating mindfulness practices and meditative exercises into the creative process. Cannon is currently developing his first narrative feature and is in production on a documentary about the band Colour Revolt. Joshua Cannon is also assistant to critically-acclaimed director Tom Shadyac. This partnership has led to the creation of Cannon’s short film, Malik & Demond: A Memphis Rox Story (Mountainfilm 2020). He recently co-directed Mama's Sundry (Mountainfilm 2024).
