Mitra Ghaffari
Mitra Ghaffari is a beginner filmmaker, community arts facilitator and bike guide based out of Havana, Cuba. She received a master’s of fine art in social documentation at UC Santa Cruz in 2023. Her career trajectory grounds documentary production in community engagement, innovative collaboration methods and social reform advocacy. She is Mountainfilm's 2023 Emerging Filmmaker Fellow and the director of Bicycle Island (Mountainfilm 2024).
