Patti Bonnet

Patti Bonnet is a documentary filmmaker who focuses on social justice and cultural awareness. She was co-producer on We Are Not Done Yet for HBO Documentary Films, line producer on Racing Extinction, and co-director/producer on the documentary short Come Back to Sudan, which won the Aspen Shortsfest Audience Award. She was a cultural delegate in Rwanda for the U.S. State Department’s American Documentary Showcase and worked for National Geographic, MacNeil/Lehrer Newshour and “This Week” with David Brinkley. She recently directed Max: One Last Favor (Mountainfilm 2024). She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master’s degree in international relations from Johns Hopkins University. She grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado.
